When I add an autoresponder on my email account one of the required fields is "Interval (hours)". The default seems to be 8 for this. In the explanation it says "The interval is the time period in hours between automatic responses to the sender."
I'm not sure what this means. Could someone please advise?
Thank you.
Rgds,
Minna

I believe this is how often you would send and autoresponse to a given sender

Hi Minna,
I may be mistaken, but I believe this refers to with what frequency you wish to generate the autoresponder for a given sender. For example, if I send you an email now, I would get the autoresponse, but if I send you subsequent emails during the period of time you have set, I would not receive additional autoresponses. So if I send you 7 emails in the period of 8 hours, and you have the interval set to 8 hours, I would receive only one autoresponse, for the first message.
Best regards,
Jared
