Hello,

I have opened a ticket on *November 20* to move my domain hosting from ambernow.com to amber. eu.com

The first answer I got was on *Jan 09*
"I'm sorry for the delay, update your DNS and then contact me again"
Which I did immediately.

Since then, total silence.

I've reopened a new ticket on *Feb 01* to ask what's going on but it has been totally ignored.

I'm wasting my money on a new domain which I have not been able to use. I expect a refund by proz.com by means of a membership extension.

Kind regards

Luca

Hosting tickets are backlogged. I will ask Andrew to address yours as a priority. Feb 13, 2008

Hi Luca,

Hosting tickets are currently backlogged; I apologize for this situation. I will ask Andrew to address your ticket as a priority when he returns to work.

In the future, please know that you can always call the office for urgent matters. The number is +1 (315) 463-7323. We are normally in the office during working hours, US Eastern time (although we have had an off-site meeting today).

Thanks for your membership. I agree that you are entitled to an extension.

Regards,
Henry

I have tickets from January with no answer! Feb 14, 2008

Hi Luca,

I have the same problem. I have a ticket from 09 Jan with and answer ( Jan 10) saying that "Let me refer this to Andrew, who can better help you with hosting matters. Thanks for your patience!" and until today I have no answer.

I've done the same as you and posted a second ticket with no answer as well.

My problem is the following: Last year I registered a domain and because I do not use it anymore, I stopped paying it. Now I would like to create a new site, but an error message appears when I try to Manage Domains:

"Error: Domain workfortranslators.com does not exist with OpenSRS

If you have recently registered or transferred this domain, it may take a few days to appear here."

Can anyone advise me how to solve this problem? The domain is not registered for over a year, so this error message will not disappear by itself.

I'm really considering paying for another domain and hosting somewhere else and if that happens, one of the main reasons to continue to be a paying member with Proz disappears. It's a shame!

Could you please also clarify your response to my support ticket from January? Feb 17, 2008

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for taking action in response to half of my request in the support ticket (I realise that you had no time to state that you had done so, by means of a reply). Would it be possible to fix the other half of the problem soon, too?

Many thanks once again.

Astrid

Same problem: ticket not dealt with since Jan 9th Mar 3, 2008

Hi Andrew,

I have submitted a ticket on Jan 9th. In March 2007, I moved my domain name to ProZ. Since January 2008, I cannot receive the emails linked with my domain name.

I have the option of renewing. Please get back to me, otherwise, I will have to move my domain name somewhere else, which I am reluctant to do.

Cheers,
Laure

Not so long but not good as well Apr 13, 2008

Looks like web hosting service is in the lowest priority on Proz.com. Couple of times I dealt with that issue and it took few days to be resolved (very fast in comparison with 3 months for people here ). Right now I've got really ridiculous problem - their system reports that I am out of space: "This account has used 80.50% (80.50 Megs) of its allocated disk space", while I've got only one file of some 10 Kb there. I have submitted a ticket (just in case) which is still pending. Hopefully it won't take 3 month. Although it doesn't really matter since I use specialised domain registar and web hoster with real time support.
