I recently needed to add a note to a job quote that I had submitted through proz.com earlier in the day.
In order to ensure that the text of the note was clear and could be read quickly, I inserted a line space between each paragraph. However, once I clicked "submit," I found that all of the paragraphs had been merged together. Not only did certain aspects of my note no longer make sense (as in, a block quote was now indistinguishable from the text before and after), but it is much harder to wade through a single block of text than quickly scan paragraphs, each dealing with a distinct topic.
Would it therefore be possible to reconfigure the form in order to allow the simple formatting of notes to be maintained? I am merely talking about maintaining line spaces between paragraphs, nothing fancy.
We are all busy and, especially when quoting for a job, clear evidence of professional skill is essential - this includes demonstrating skill in formatting a business text, something that the current note form unfortunately undermines.

I just tested the "Add note" option for job quotes and I see that, in effect, spaces between lines are removed when the note is submitted.
Let me refer this to internal development to have it adjusted so that formating is maintained. Adjustments and fixing-ups may take some time, but I promise to notify you here as soon as this has been resolved and tested or as soon as I have any news.
