As far as I have been able to see, jobs advertised on Proz are auctioned (price plays the central role). It would therefore only be fair to members of the site to enable them to see both the lowest and the highest offers, and the "final price" selected by the job provider.
I believe paying members should simply ask for this feature to be introduced.

As an outsourcer, I would not post any jobs here, if the result would be published. In my opinion it is confidential information that is only relevant to me (the outsourcer) and the person who accepted the job.
I would however have no problem if Proz aggregated the information on a quaterly basis by language pair and specialty.
How would you react if outsourcers wanted to know all rates translators accept from customers?
You know, this would allow us, the "bad agencies" to always offer you the rate you might just accept

The jobs actually posted on this site are only a small proportion of the jobs that are negotiated through the site, direct from outsourcer to translator.
These are the ones where they select a handful of tranlsators or just one from the directory, and mail him/her/them about the job and ask for a quote.
No one would ever see the information or rates about those, and you cannot force outsourcers to give that kind of information. They would quite rightly say it was nobody else's business.
