I appreciate very much our GlossPost section, and all the improvements made.

However, I really miss being able to review by myself and right away new glossary submissions, the way it was possible when they were made through the Forum.

In my opinion, the possibility of getting notifications for all new glossary submissions is what makes the difference between a simple collection of links and a true community exchange.

May be a track option can simply be added to the GlossPost page?

Luca

I do miss it too! May 9, 2003

I totally agree with Luca: without the possibility of getting notifications (or at least to see postings on the home page) it is just a simple collection of links.

Translator Resources used to be my favourite forum and now I miss those postings.

Regards,

Nikita Kobrin

P.S. Search possibilities are certainly much better now - it\'s a plus.

It is a searchable database... May 9, 2003

Glossary sites and online resources are now in a format convenient for searches, including languages, keywords and other criteria.

In my opinion, there is no need to send notifications, as the links are now permanently available in a permanent archive and that changes a lot, from the more \'volatile\' nature of the previous forum postings format.

Dear Gianfranco,

I\'m afraid you haven\'t quite caught the idea.

I do understand that it\'s a searchable database and it\'s great(see my P.S. above). I simply want to be informed about all NEW entries to the collection.

Nikita Kobrin

Thanks, Luca and Nikita May 9, 2003

Luca, Nikita,

I got your point. I have added an option to view most recent entires as a first step. Notifications to be done later.

I must admit, you make good suggestions! (And keep us busy...)

Thanx to the new option I\'ve already bookmarked a couple of interesting resources!

And BTW the time of forum postings really became much shorter now. Thanx a lot, Henry!

Nikita Kobrin
