I want to suggest that the main page (as is in the English>Spanish pair) shows less jobs and more questions. The rate at which questions are posted is much higher than that of the jobs. Besides, maybe not many people are interested in browsing jobs posted almost a week earlier.

Best regards,

Elías Sauza

Other users may have the opposite preference Jun 24, 2004

Dear Elias,

others may argue that they want to see more jobs and less questions...
The home page is only the tip of the iceberg of what is happening inside the various sections of ProZ.com

Everybody can just to go past it, enter the section (Jobs, KudoZ, Forum) using the appropriate links, and the whole content, as little or as much as it is, will be available.

I see your point Jun 25, 2004

You are right that questions tend to stay on the home page for far less time than jobs. We'll keep it in mind for future adjustment. Thanks!

Excellent suggestion Jun 25, 2004

This is an excellent suggestion by Elías. Half of the jobs showing would be enough, as for the questions they disappear much too soon. Cut the jobs space in half and give it to the questions. I rather go HOME when I am tracking a question, there I can see whether the question has been answered or a new answer has been posted rather than going to the question itself to keep me up to date.
