Keeping the awarding of points as it is. BUT, adding a parallel ranking to be calculated out of:

Number of points earned / Number of answers given.

I´ve done a test with myself and in English>Spanish that factor is 1.02, in Spanish>English 0.98, and in Portuguese>Spanish 2.00.

I do believe it is much more simpler than what I saw in the FAQs (too many elements to take into account).

I would like to hear opinions, please. Am I too off the track?

Thanks for your time,

The 'reliability ratio' is the more refined solution Jul 13, 2002

I suppose you refer to the \'KudoZ reliability ratio\', since your suggestion points in the same direction. While the KRR is somewhat more complex (but then, nobody needs to calculate it by hand...), there is two very important ingredients: the KRR takes peer grading and the confidence level into account. I believe these are essential to accurately reflect someone\'s track record.
