Regarding requests for assistance in translating single words:



It would be helpful to all concerned if the word was supplied in context. Take an example:



English: Taxed



Can mean: A tax has been levied



Resources are used to the maximum



I\'m at the end of my tether



I may be able to help but I\'m very busy

English: Taxed



Can mean: A tax has been levied



Resources are used to the maximum



I\'m at the end of my tether



I may be able to help but I\'m very busy



....and so on.



If the (imaginary) poster had asked for help in translating taxed as in:



The revenues earned were TAXED at 56%...



then he/she would probably save him/herself and everyone else a lot of time and the correct answer would be available faster.



You see?



How about introducing this as a \"standard\" query requirement



(If no-one objects of course).

Askers do have to enter context now. The system won\'t accept a question unless there is something in the context box.



Still, it is not uncommon for an insufficient amount of context to be entered. In those cases, people with at least 100 kudoz points can ask for more context.
