G'day everyone

A minute ago I quoted a URL with a colon in it, in one of the forums. ProZ.com's forum system assumed that "colon-P" is a smiley, and converted my URL to something really weird.

Hi Samuel,
The main issue I see is that the codes you can use are no longer displayed (they used to be part of the old forum FAQ) - the problem you describe should not occur if you enclose the URL with tags
[ url ] www.thisistheurl.com [ /url ]

OK, all of us should do our homework and read everything written anywhere on the site...but meanwhile, it would be nice if while I am writing my forum post I could hit a handy button and see forum FAQs and/or forum rules in a new window. Ditto when I'm asking/answering a KudoZ question, etc.

And I'm not very high-tech: Is there anything on that page that tectranslate kindly referenced for us that shows how I can, if I choose, write:

P r o Z (spaces inserted) and not have it automatically convert to:

ProZ ?
