Idioms make up the beauty of a language and reflect how speakers of that language view the world. Just a suggestion to have a section into which a member can post an idiom and another member can translate that idiom into his or her target language. It takes only a few minutes of your time and in the end you will get a very useful glossary.
For example: \"How do you say to escape by the skin of one\'s teeth\" in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese...... See more

I think it might work especially well for new idioms, idioms that are being used right now and are not included in the dictionaries - yet.

I love idioms and I\'d love a section like that in proz. In fact, in my unpretentious web page I have a list of English idioms translated into Spanish and I\'d like to update it from time to time taking into account regionalisms and different points of view.
