Although I can create a new directory and upload files on my Website (hosted on Proz) with an FTP CLIENT, if I log on with the HTML INTERFACE (My ProZ.com - Hosting), I cannot see this new directory I just added with the FTP client.

I can upload/download files for/from my clients with an FTP client (the connection is very fast, I appreciate!), but I have to use the above HTML interface to modify the content of my Home page. All the files I uploaded with the FTP client seem to be simply ignored in the HTML environment. I can access a new index.html file with Explorer only if this file was uploaded with the HTML interface (the File manager provided by ProZ). Any file uploaded with an FTP client is simply ignored by Explorer. Is there a specific reason?

The HTML interface is nice, but files must be uploaded ONE BY ONE... So I would like to build my Website directly on my computer and then upload all the files with an FTP client. That's what I did a few years ago with my Websites (on Geocities and a few others). Is it possible to do the same thing with the website hosted on Proz ? (Sorry for the redundancy of my questions.)
