For some time now I have had trouble with bidding on jobs. For some unknown reason when wanting to make a bid, the page containing the bidform often cannot be found. On some rare occasion when it does, and I have completed the bid and want to submit the very same thing happens.
I have asked Jason for an explanation/suggestion, but no answer received sofar.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem, of does anybody have a suggestion?
I should add that submitting KudoZ-answers offers no problem at all.

I tried to submit a bid for most of the day without success because the bid form page wouldn’t open at all. Meanwhile, the number of bids received (submitted by others) for that job kept mounting up. When it reached 47 with me still unable to submit a bid of my own, I finally gave up. Really frustrating!!!! So what’s to be done?

Hi Nicole, Annoying is not it?
Which operating system and webbrowser (+version) do you use?

I am running Windows ME with AOL7.0. Why, do you have any good tips for solving this problem? Incidentally, I\'ve also had problems submitting bids, that is AFTER I filled in the bid form. I clicked on \'submit bid\', and very very slowly the OK page tried to load. Except it didn\'t - again a blank page appeared. The annoying thing was that I didn\'t know whether my bid had been recorded or not. Is this part of the same problem? Grateful for any advice. G

Did you send an e-mail to Jason, or did you submit a Support Request? Note that there have been some staff changes at ProZ.com recently.

Yes, Ralf, a couple of times. Both addressed to Jason, as well as Marta, but I must admit that I do not keep track of who is coming or going at ProZ.

My first request must have been some 3 months ago and more recently 2-3 weeks ago.
Sofar I have been able to enter bids for the jobs that were published and I was interested in because the outsourcer had entered a regular e-mail address or had a Proz-profile.
Now I\'m trying to figure out whether it might be a problem that occurs on particular systems or browsers. Hence my qyestion to Nicole.

Nor would you have to - but that\'s the thing: if you use a Support Request (as opposed to e-mail), it doesn\'t matter who it\'s addressed to.
