Dear Members,

As previously announced, the first phase of the 1st Annual Translation Contest closes on Thursday, November 20 at 16 GMT.

These are the last days to submit new entries or -if you have already entered - check your entries and make the final edits.

Here is what will happen when submission closes:

* Language pairs with more than 7 entries will move to qualification round voting. See FAQ

* Language pairs with 3-7 entries will go directly into final round voting (a qualification stage is not necessary since the number of entries is manageable.)

For the pairs described above voting rounds will start on Friday, November 21.

* In language pairs with 1 or 2 entries: a winner cannot be selected unless there are at least three entries. Therefore, submission will be permitted beyond the first deadline. As soon as a third entry is received, submission will close and the pair will go into final round voting.

I'd like to remind you that there will be a few new implementations in the qualification round as described here.

More information related to contests is available at the contest page: Contest FAQ, Forum, Contest Rules and Support .

View the texts and submit your entry here.

Thanks for your participation.
