1st Annual Translation Contest: more winners announced.

Dear all,

More winners of the 1st Annual Translation Contest: Awakening are now being announced on the contest page. So far winners have been selected in seventy-five (75) language pairs.

Voting is still open in the following 6 language pairs:

1- Chinese to German
2- Catalan to Italian
3- Italian to Czech
4- Hungarian to French
5- German to Ukrainian

Apart from promoting voting in these pairs through email invitations and posting in the specific forums, some suggestions made by the community in this post are being analyzed.

Final voting has just closed in the following pairs:

1- Italian to French
2- English to Tagalog
3- French to Russian
4- Hungarian to English

Winners in these pairs will be announced soon.

The drawing among contest winners to award prizes will take place after voting closes in all pairs.

Congratulations to the recently announced winners.

1st Annual Translation Contest: ribbons and certificates are being displayed in profiles. Jan 8, 2009

Dear all,

I am happy to let you know that contest winners' profile recognition is now possible on a pair-by-pair basis. Therefore, the ribbons and certificates of the winners of the 1st Annual Translation Contest are now being displayed in their profiles.

To the winners: please remember that the certificate appears in the "contest won" section of your profile and that to be able to download it, you will need one of the latest versions of Adobe Reader. Here is the link to download it in case you do not have it yet:
