More voters needed in some language pairs Oct 22

Hey guys, if you haven't voted yet in your language pairs, please do! There are some pairs that had quite a few participants, for which a winner has not been declared because ONE MORE VOTER is needed. Don't keep the contestants in suspense any longer!

The Ru-En pair you're referring to has been stuck at 1 voter for days... Oct 23

What happens with the pairs which do not receive enough votes? Oct 27

The Spanish-Romanian pair has been in limbo since the end of the second phase of the contest. What if nobody votes? It still needs 6 votes.

I'm sure there are other pairs in this situation.

Unfortunately, my language combinations are limited. It was nice to feel like the saviour. I entered the previous contest and the situation was the same in my combination of CZ-EN, so I felt your pain!

The same happens with the Italian-Portuguese pair.
We need 8 voters...
I think there are many translators in this pair, not only 3 of us...
I can't wait anymore...

All contestants should be required to vote Oct 30

I think all the contestants who have submitted their entries should be required to vote in each phase. I guess it would solve the problem.

Only pairs with enough number of voters will be closed for now Nov 1

Hello all,

I am sorry for the delay in my reply.

As previously explained, each language pair will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For the time being, only those language pairs with enough number of voters for a winner to be determined will be closed and winners will be announced. I will keep you all posted.

Thanks for the suggestion, Regi2006. All contestants are invited to vote for entries in the language pairs they participate but I am afraid this is not a requirement. In any case, final voting in each pair is open to those members and users who have been registered on the site for at least 1 month, who are native in the target language and work in the same language pair in which they wish to vote.

Thank you all for encouraging voting in the language pairs that are still open. I'm sure contestants really appreciate your help.

Have a good weekend.

Regards,

Lucia

When will the next set of winners be announced? Nov 1

And the Ru-En pair among them, which Jennifer graciously closed back on the 26th.

Thanks again for the efforts made by the site staff.

It's noted that a few language pairs remain suspended for being without the enough balance votes. Yeah, it's truly not an easy thing to put them to an end before they're fairly judged by the related professionals.

Only thing for those winners is to wait, wait till their final, responsible results. That's important to this contest's justice.
