How can I add a counter to my profile?

...is that possible with HTML? Or is it possible at all?

click on a counter (in my profile page, if you want) and you\'ll go to a website where you can choose the counter you prefer.

It\'s quite easy!

It's not working for me either! May 24, 2002

I went to the website, got an address, but when I try to add it to my ProZ page all I see is the code! What am I doing wrong?

Now, to counters and any free webstuff generally:



If you want a good counter, it\'s best to use one that doesn\'t show any unwanted advertising and yet is for free. My choice is \"www.sitemeter.com\". Several advantages:



a) it\'s free (like everything on the web should be)



b) it doesn\'t have any advertising



c) it is customizable - your colour choice

I answered with quoting your post on purpose - I hope that the URL that you posted will be revealed completely, without that little box at the very beginning of it(so far while I am typing it looks exactly the way I want it!).



So, you delete the space between the equation sign and the quotas, i.e. there should be NO space between the = and \" !!!



I deleted it and everything was OK.

Let me know if it worked.

OK - now after I have posted it the little box came back.



Kim and everybody who has the same problem: go to your profile page, click \"edit\" - the extra space will be located before the http address starts.

Yes spaces are the problem May 24, 2002

I guess spaces can inadvertently occur after pasting into the profile and after fiddling around with them I got it working - but with BORDER=O sticking out. I went back in and deleted BORDER=O and it works fine now.

My border was sticking out too May 24, 2002

Until I deleted it. Everything seems to be working now!
