TOPIC STARTER	WAN Oct 24, 2008 Hi Fabio, a very good question, which allows me to announce the solution in place, which will also be circulated by e-mail to all delegates early next week.. Unfortunately, the venue does not have a Wi-Fi system, but will be providing a table with WAN internet access in the exhibition area so that delegates can check their e-mail etc as required during the conference. We all know how urgent client problems can crop up right in the middle of the least convenient weekends! Link to Camden Centre takes me somewhere totally useless Nov 9, 2008 Hi Michael I tried to obtain detailed information about the Camden Centre. Do they not have a website? It seems uncommonly hard to find access details. The link to Camden Centre from http://www.translationconference.org.uk/index_files/Page470.html, goes to a commercial site that does not seem to have any bearings on the conference venue: https://www.compilahosting.co.uk/hostadminebs/?page=domains&domain_id=10022307&account_id=4434&action=send_domain_details&session_id=FTv2t2JV0ZlzTxr8R6MvitNqhp I would appreciate being able to download pdfs of the conference details -- programme, Friday dinner, Saturday dinner, venue, speakers, participants, etc. Very many thanks. Suffice to say, this is what it was originally and should have continued to be: http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/navigation/business/venues-for-events/camden-centre/ I'm correcting the site as I write this. I'll be sending a sort of information pack e-mail to all delegates later this week - as soon as we reach our cut-off number. Not least of all to also remind people that they cannot pay at the very last minute - we'll need around a week to prepare the badges, pay caterers and so on. TOPIC STARTER	Conference Guide Nov 16, 2008 Just in case anyone missed the e-mails, the Conference Guide has been available since Friday at: http://www.translationconference.org.uk/Guide%20to%20the%20Translator%20as%20Strategic%20Partner.pdf Please note that it's a 6MB file, which should print out nice clearly to give you something to read on your journey, a nice clear Underground map for when you arrive in London and so on. But if you need a lower resolution version, please just let me know and I'll e-mail one to you.
