Dear friends,

First of all, sorry for posting in English, I hope you won't mind.

I'm in urgent need of a Romanian phone number ("Casa de Cultura" in Hodod, jud. Satu Mare). Do any of you know of a phone directory accessible from abroad, either on the net or by phone ("931" doesn't seem to work from outside Romania).

The problem has kind of solved itself in that the Casa de Cultura I was looking for doesn't seem to have a phone. Nevertheless, if someone knows how to dial the phone directory from abroad, I'd be thankful for this piece of information for future reference.

I see you found out that they do not have a phone number. All I could find was the City Hall number (0261-829001) and the Police number (0261-829006). I was told that if I phoned the police they might be able to help.
