Hi Ravindra Jul 26, 2004

Which OS do you use? Windows? Which version?

In case you have Windows XP Jul 27, 2004

You don't need any additional packages for reading/typing Russian. If you installed some additional 3rd-party software it may cause problems. Try ininstalling it. Please ensure if you installed Cyrillic support:

Start > Control panel > International
In the Languages tab you should have Russian keyboard installed

BEFORE typing something in Russian in your browser, please check if you have set the correct encoding:
View > Encoding >Cyrillic > Win1251 (or Windows Cyrillic)
(there may be slight differences depending on the browser)

Seconded, with one minor correction:

This one applies to KudoZ, but _not_ to some other pages which are in KOI8-R, or UTF, or even ISO (ISO-8859-5, if am not mistaken).

By the way, I think it would be really nice to have ProZ switch to Unicode. Then we would be able to (correctly) type and see Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish in the same question, with all diacritics etc.
