I use Windows XP and Nod 32 2.7. The antivirus always updated automatically.
Since yesterday, every hour there appears a message that says: Nod32 update:
Invalid user name or password. I do not know the user name or password because I never use them. Programs were installed by a technician. Can I fix this on my own? Thanks and regards.

Normally the Username & Password of Nod32 will be valid within 1month, 3 months,6 months and one year, depend on which kind of license you have, I think you may need extend your valid period through purchasing from ESET or their agents.

What the technician installed was a free version that must be due by now.
Nod 32 is an excellent antivirus, the best to my knowledge, and you should do well buying your own version. It's only forty dollars for one year use, but it's worth it!

antivirus database is not updating anymore...?
That's right.
You may still have it, but it will be protecting your PC only from old virus, not the newer ones. And, believe me, there are new virus everyday!

reinstall and remove update miror if you are using it

Try to reinstall the application, then chose not to receive updates using a mirror if you are doing so.
