Received an email from an agency in Shanghai

Hi,
This is XXXXl fromYYYYYYY in Shanghai, China. We
found your C.V. on proz.com.
Now we have got a Swedish to English translation work, including about 2000
words. We want to find some translator to take it. Are you interested in it?
We will pay you USD 0.07 per source word. For all the works finished in this
month, the payment will be made at the end of next month. And in the future,

Receive the test and it was clearly part of a longer document, so I suspect that this
might have been sent to other translators working into English from Swedish and that
the person&agency is using the old "free test" trick to get the text translated at no cost
to them. has anybody received a similar message?

You may be interested in the outcome of this test. By chance, thanks to a colleague, I was able to see the test results. Eight translators responded, and all received the identical Swedish text - so clearly not a scam. Their translations varied in quality from good to bad, thus achieving the purpose of the test.
