Hello,
I have installed SDL Edit 2007 SP2 (Build 7035) and MultiTerm 7.5.0.444 (Build 448). However, there is no Multiterm entry in the View > Toolbars menu through which I could enable the MultiTerm menu.
Any idea what could be wrong?
Stefan

Multiterm is for Trados

SDLX has its own database system called Termbase. You find it when right-clicking the SDLX-icon in the lower left corner of your screen. Regards Heinrich

Using MultiTerm in SDL Edit If you have SDL MultiTerm Desktop installed on your PC you can also use MultiTerm termbases in SDLX. Like SDL TermBase, SDL MultiTerm is a terminology management system. It was developed for use with SDL Trados but can also be used with SDLX. When working in SDLX you can select a MultiTerm termbase and: - Be prompted with terms that are applicable to the current segment - Check for terms applicable to the whole ITD (perform a QA Check) - Add new terms to the database. Note: There is no need to have MultiTerm Desktop open when you are working with MultiTerm termbases in SDLX.
Accessing MultiTerm options MultiTerm options are accessed from the MultiTerm menu, the Tools menu and the MultiTerm toolbar. This is the MultiTerm menu [screenshot]: This is the MultiTerm toolbar [screenshot]: If the MultiTerm toolbar is not currently displayed, select View > Toolbars > MultiTerm from the menu bar. ▲ Collapse
