Can't clean the Word file

Hello,

I am unable to clean a Word 2003 file with Trados 6.5. The message I get from the Workbench is number 352549992.

This file was originally in Word 2007 and was down-converted and sent to me by the agency for my version of Word (2003). Can you please help? Thanks, Domenica

Clean from Word Jul 15, 2008

1. Save the original with another name.
2. Press ALT+F8 for the macro list to appear. Find the macro tw4winClean.Main and run it.
3. You will need to clean up header/footer, text boxes, manually for all sections in your document with the same macro

Hello,

I often have this problem, too.

But what if there is no "tw4winClean.Main" macro in the list? (It is definitely not in MY list!!)

Marcos should load with TradosX.dot template. Check if you have it loaded (Word>Tools>Templates and add-ons (or so)).

Thank you,

Trados template is loaded.

What I find is "Normal.tw4winClean.Main" which does not work

and then below

"tw4winAdd.Main"
"tw4winClose.Main"
"tw4winConcordance.Main" etc.

but no "tw4winClean.Main"

Strange, isn't it?
