Since I've installed Microsoft Office 2007, I can't open TagEditor. I get this message:
TRADOS TagEditor has found a problem. It will be closed.

Any idea to solve it? Yesterday it worked fine.
I don't know for sure if it is related to Office 2007, but this is the only change I've made in my computer.

Thank you,

Irene

Hi Irene,

# describe the step(s) or process(es) which have triggered the problem.
This will help others to help you.

Specifically, what is your Trados version?

Best regards,
Ralf

Same problem Oct 7, 2008

Hi all,

I will not be able to help but I have the same problem...

When trying to open TagEditor (SDL Trados 2007 SP2) (just on its own, not even with a file) it says "TRADOS TagEditor has found a problem. It will be closed."

I use Word 2007, XP Professional. Several times de-installing and installing did not help.

Any ideas?

Thanks a million
Anja

Not a known problem Oct 7, 2008

Close all applications.
Please try to register your Trados installation.
To do so, go to Start, locate the SDL International program group, then locate the Trados group inside. From there let the "Register SDL Trados 2007..." program run.
Maybe this helps.

problem solved!! Oct 8, 2008

Hi Anja,

I've solved it repairing Trados installation.

Please try it:
Go to Start --> Configuration --> Control Panel --> Add /Remove programs --> click on Support information link and choose Repair option

Good luck!

Irene Cot
