Workbench problem when pre-translating

Hi all,

Whenever I try to pre-translate documents which already have parts translated, and use the "Replace" or "Insert" options for "Translate", Workbench gives me a Red message at the bottom of the window that says [-2147467261]: [null]. I can however do this if I select "Don't" for translate but that obviously doesn't translate anything.

Anyone run into this problem before? Any help in the next couple of hours (or otherwise) would be immensely appreciated.

Hopefully support staff will give you more precise explanation, but it looks to me you are trying to translate terms instead of segments and in this case you'd have to have the corresponding termbase enabled in Workbench. If you only have a translation memory from previous translations you should tick the "Update document" under "Update changed translations" and keep the option "Don't" under "Translate terms". If you want to have the terms within segments translated you need to add a termbase under "Term recognition options".
