When trying to clean up a HTML-format file translated in Tageditor, I get the error message 50009: file not found.
Does anybody know what this implies? The file does exist, it's not a big file.
Thank you!

Folder issue?
Oct 13, 2008
Hi Nathalya, make sure the HTML file is located in the same folder as it says in your TTX file header. You can display the TTX file header by opening the file in Notepad. If your HTML file is not located in the folder where it is referenced by the TTX, copy the HTML file in the appropriate folder. Alternatively, you may try to use the "Save target as" command from TagEditor. In fact, when cleaning up a TTX-HTML file, TagEditor should do even without the original HTML.

Cause and resolution

Cause You are trying to use a reference translation memory that does not exist for concordance searches.
Resolution Be sure to specify either an existing reference translation memory, or none at all, when using the concordance feature.
This is what Trados say about error message 50009.
Hope it helps.
