I upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007. Since then, SDL Trados 2007 is not working any more. I realized that the Trados button didn't appear in the Word toolbar. I managed somehow to have the Multiterm button in the Word toolbar, but not the Trados button.
Any ideas? Regards.
Jacek.

As you was seduced by the dark side of the Force, go to http://talisma.sdl.com and apply all the patches for Word 2007 you may find.

Otherwise you'll be frozen as Han Solo waitin' for a next segment.

Cheers

Trados 7 and Word 7 Nov 3, 2008

Hi Guys,

My Word 7 doesn't see the Trados toolbar either. I looked for the Trados8.dotx - or Trados7.dotx(?) but could not find it. Any ideas on where it is? The search tool was no help.

Joe

Hi Joe, did you mean Word 7 (i. e. version 7), or Word 2007 (version 12)? This information is crucial!

As you could see, my post was corrected by Grzegorz: the file name is Trados8.dotm. Locate this file and copy it into your Office Startup folder.
