I'm about to format my computer, how do I backup Multiterm's Termbase

I keep my Multiterm Termbases in a separate folder, which I'm going to back-up. But termbases are always a hassle and I don't want to leave something out. Is there a particularly efficient way to migrate Multiterm's Termbases?

Has worked for me several times. Though I do not keep termbases separately, using the default locations.
Just give them reasonable names to use when importing mdb files back.

They are mdb's to begin with. Just back them up. Or is that what you meant?
Renaming is a good idea, although my termbases are sorted into appropriately named folders in one common folder so they're identifiable. I'd just back up this larger folder as it is.

Hello,

You could try this method:

1. Open your termbase
2. Go to the Termbase menu and select "Package/Delete termbase"
3. Select the termbase you wish to pack up and choose a file name and a save location
4. Click OK
5 A .mdb file will be created in your selected location
6. Port this file over to your new computer
7. Open Multiterm on your new computer
8. Select the Termbase menu and choose "Load External Termbase"
