Shift of language input methods (English and Chinese)

Dear All,

Currently I'm using Tageditor to translate an xls from English to Chinese. I set the language input method in Chinese. However, when I run into the next segment, it always changes to English mode automatically. And then I have to change it back into Chinese manually. Has anybody met with this before and know any solution?

Hi Carol,
I don't know if this helps, but it well may:
Do the following In TagEditor:
1) Go to Tools > Options
2) In the Options dialog switch to the "Edit" tab
3) Uncheck the "Switch keyboards automatically" checkfield in the "Keyboard" group box.

Please let me know if it has helped; I'd like to know.

I'm sorry Carol, but I can't help you. But there might be some language settings to be set at the Windows level, not at the level of Trados.
That's all I have for you, unfortunately.

This is a bug. you can use ziguang pinyin 3.0, The problem will not occur.
