I recently bought a new computer. It runs on Vista and I installed the good old Office 2003 version. After that I installed my Trados 7 Freelance that I have used on my older computer, but I can't get it to work. Both programs open fine but Trados icon is missing and I cannot connect Word to Workbench. Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have word 2007 and many things are different but you can try to reach word options and then complements you should find your trados there and activate the trados option.

Conflict of Trados icon with Acrobat PDF icon on MS Word Jan 11, 2009

This issue has been widely discussed in Proz forum. You can search many of solutions in Proz.
It is also a bug in many Trados versions.

Be careful... Jan 12, 2009

Trados 7 is not officially supported to run under Vista, so you may expect problems to come.
Just a warning...
