Hi everybody,

I´ve just bought the new update for
TRADOS Freelance Suite SP2 and I have already installed it.
However, after the "successful" installation
I couldn´t even use the Workbench and a message
appeared:


Message: "TRADOS Translator´s workbench has found a Problem and must be closed."

I tried with reinstallation, but it didn´t work.

Has anybody an idea how to solve this?

I the meantime I got an important contract, that I cannot even start.

I´ll appreciate your help!!

Try the former package Jan 15, 2009

I would search the older version and re-install it in order to get work done.

I installed the old version to keep
working until I can install the new one properly.

I´m working on the windows XP 2000 plattform.
My computer has Pentium processor 735A,
1,7 GHz, 400 MHz FSB.

I deleted completely the old version so as
to install the new one, but I didn´t work.

I have noticed similar error messages with
other office´s programs before, and those could be
solved by renaming the dot-files (name.dot)
with another extension ( e.g. name.doc).
However, in this case I don´t know which file should be renamed.
