SDL Trados 2007. I have activated the spelling in Word as described in Help of Tag Editor, bud the option Check Spelling in Tools is not activated. Thanks in advance for your answer.

FYI: topic has been moved to SDL Trados Support forum Jan 15, 2009

which you should always use for any SDL Trados related question.

As for the TE and spellchecking: got to Tools, chose "Plug-ins...". Make sure "Spelling checkers" and "Microsoft Word spelling checker 2.0" (or "Word spelling checker") are selected and press OK. Again go to Tools, chose Options, go to Spelling tab and select "Check spelling when closing segment".

You MUST have Word and spell checkers installed on your system to get this to work. Without Word it will not work.
