Hi,
I have translated some PHP files and needed to find a way to leave intact the code while translating the text.
I opened one of the PHP files in Wordpad and noticed that the text to translate was just after these marks "=>" and also noticed that text started always with brackets.

I opened SDLX and went to New translation and in the dialog box, in File type, I chose "Generic delimited". Opened "options" and in "Column delimiter" I specified "other" and introduced =>
I also clicked in "Text is enclosed in quotes".

In "Column selection", "Source column": 2. This is because 1 corresponds to the string code.
"Translation column" also 2.

And that is. When you open the file you have the text to translate and once finished you "Create translation".

You will need to check that everything has been translated and that you have not modified the code (sometimes some bits of code are inside the text to translate).

That is the best solution I could find.
In this case I could set "=>" as a column delimiter. Check if this is the same delimiter in your files or if it is something different.

Hope this helps someone.

I haven't had any php for years. but think your method will come in handy to lots of SDLX-users.
