How do I create the tags inside the text with TagEditor?

Hello:

I am trying to use Tag editor (Trados 7) and i do not know hoe to create the tags inside the text that i need to translate, this question it is been answered 100 times but i really need help to create the tags, please let me know if you can help me out

You can find the answer in 30 seconds.
Open SDL Trados 2007 Translator's Workbench User Guide, this is a pdf document (5 seconds)
Look at the bookmarks and go to Working with Tags (5 seconds)
Read the section called Using the Tags Toolbar (15 seconds)
That is all! Sorry, only 25 seconds

Why create tags? Jan 31, 2009

Selcuk Akyuz provides good advice, but I am puzzled why you want to create tags inside the text, and what you mean by that. The whole point of TagEditor is to protect the existing tags so that you only translate the text. The tags should already be in the source text.

Perhaps you mean how do you include the source tags in your target segments. Use the Copy Source command.
