Save Target As... Feb 1, 2009

If the .ttx file was created from a .doc file, then use the File/Save Target As menu item of TagEditor and the original .doc file format will be restored from the bilingual .ttx file.

It is not cleare that whether you want to save bilangual or target or, just in stade of tag editor you want to work in words with TM. Use 'save target as' commond. Then you can work in word with your TM.

You need to have the source file in Word Feb 1, 2009

Hi Cheryl,

In order to save the target file, you should have the source file in the folder where you will save your work. You will be asked if you want to replace it and you say yes. And hey presto!

Workaround if you don't have the source files Feb 1, 2009

If you don't have the source files and Save As is not an option, you can select all the text (Ctrl-A), copy it to Word, clean the document and delete the tags using the Select all text with this font option.
