Trados 07/Word 07 bugs: hot key/spelling

2 issues in Trados 2007 using Word 2007:
- 1 - I am translating French to English, and when a segment opens after two words the third word and subsequent words are recognized by Word as being French, and then of course are all underlined in red as being misspelled.

How can I fix this annoying problem?

- 2 - The hot keys (ctrl + alt + dwn arrow etc) for getting a number are not working. Most other trados hot keys are working.

i can manually click on the little blue arrow in the menu bar but i really prefer to use the hot key.

how can i fix this annoying problem? It is actually not the only hot key for trados not working but right now it is the most annoying.
