Hi Maria, could you please provide us with the whole text of the error message? The error with this number might have a variety of causes. A common one is when you try open a DOC document that was converted from DOCX (Word 2007). Please provide your version of Trados too.

My Microsoft word is not 2007 My TRADOS Version: SDL TRADOS 8.0 Version

Hi Maria, please try the following: 1. Save your DOC file as RTF (File/Save as/Rich text format) in Word 2. Open the RTF and save it as DOC again 3. Try to open the DOC in TagEditor now.
If it does not help, try to search the forums.
BTW, it doesn't matter what YOUR version of Word is; what matters is what version of Word the document was created.
