I have recently upgraded my version of Trados and all new segments appear empty in TagEditor, so I have to hit the "copy source" button every time, unless in case of match to my TM. In my old version, source was automatically copied by default into the target segment, as long as it was "No Match".

I would like to know how I could change that back.

Thank you for your help in advance.

A Trados Workbench Setting Feb 13, 2009

The solution is very easy: open Trados Workbench, then
Options - Translation Memory Options - General
and tick the box "Copy source on no match".

It is a WB setting, not something that can be chosen in TagEditor settings.

Best regards,

Vesna
