I have been given a TM export in TXT (text) format from previous projects to be used in a new translation project using Trados 7.5; my question is: Does Workbench accept this kind of TM or will I have to make some arrangements in order to make the translation using the provided TM ?
many thanks in advance.
Héctor

Just import it! Apr 7, 2009

Go to File > Import (and browse and select the appropriate txt file!) > OK
That's all!

Kind regards

You may have to create a TM first Apr 8, 2009

Unless you have an existing translation memory with the language pair / client, you may have to create a TM first. With Workbench open, click on (these are the English equivalents) File/New, then select your language pair, click Create. Then import the text file.
