Multiterm Convert 2007/2009 error: exception from hresult 0x80040154

Hi,
while I was using Multiterm Convert 2007 today it suddenly stopped working as I was trying to convert a spreadsheet into a termbase. Every single time I try I get this message: exception from hresult 0x80040154. I tried to uninstall it and install the 2009 version but to no avail.
I also looked in this forum and tried the solutions suggested for similar cases, but again, no luck with that.
Please help me if you can
