Automatic overwriting in Studio

I have a new problem with Studio, which started some days ago:

Each time I try to change something in the translation in the target column, the new text I type deletes the following characters. The only way to avoid this seem to be to press the Insert key, but that does not persist, so next time I want to make a change the overwriting is activated again.

Is there any way to avoid this?
