Hello,
For the first time I've got the problem with PDF files - 80003 TagEditor is unable to open this document because the file type is not recognised. I use Trados 7.0
Thank you in advance for helping me.

PDF is not and was never supported as file type in TagEditor

You could open it in Studio 2009/2011, but the best way is to use a decent PDF converter, extract only plain text from there, then format the text manually and translate such file.
Any attempt to convert PDF including all formatting will lead to more or less tag overloaded file in any CAT tool.
