Hello,
we keep having problems with Multi-Term and the Workbench (Trados 5.00 - don't know where to find the build), windows 2000 professional). We use both the Workbench and Multi-Term with up to 4 persons simultaneously and we keep getting the error message "Time-out when communicating with Multi-Term error 50153)" or - as a pop-up - "Multi-Term kann keinen Leselock erhalten ..." (couldn't find it in English), even though it worked fine just seconds before (i.e. Multi-Term was opened) ... See more

we keep having problems with Multi-Term and the Workbench (Trados 5.00 - don't know where to find the build), windows 2000 professional). We use both the Workbench and Multi-Term with up to 4 persons simultaneously and we keep getting the error message "Time-out when communicating with Multi-Term error 50153)" or - as a pop-up - "Multi-Term kann keinen Leselock erhalten ..." (couldn't find it in English), even though it worked fine just seconds before (i.e. Multi-Term was opened) and nobody edited Multi-Term.
We can still work with the Workbench when this happens, but it takes ages for a new segment to open and the term recognition stops. Normally, it goes back to normal after a while, but it is still annoying.

Any suggestions?

You can find the version numbers in Help - About..., both in Workbench and MultiTerm.
