Hi,

I am using Trados 6.5 Freelance (Build 438), have activated Term Recognition, have chosen MultiTerm 5 as Terminology Provider (the OK button is greyed out though), and as soon as I close the first segment to go to the next one, I get error code 50169 "The active MultiTerm Version is not compatible".

Does anybody know this problem and can help?

Thanks!

Choose the multiterm database Oct 14, 2004

Hello,

try to choose a Multiterm database.

After this the ok button should be active.

Which version of MT 5.x are you using? Oct 14, 2004

Hi Sonja,
You did not specify which version of MT5.x you're using - 5.0 or 5.5?

Best, Ralf

Thanks, Hans, but when I open a termbase ("Termbase Location" -> "Browse") I get error code 50154 ("No database has been opened"). I have tried this with several databases.

When I started the Workbench this morning (MultiTerm opened in background), the OK button was active, but the problem (not compatible) remained the same. After closing/saving the first segment, it was greyed out again.

MT 5.5 required, methinks... Oct 15, 2004

Thanks, Sonja - IIRC T6.5 requires MT5.5; I'll double-check with Trados Support.

Best, Ralf
