Studio 2014 does not export comments/changes to word 97-2003

Hello everyone,

I'm working on a review project (sent as a package) in Studio 2014.

How can I export comments and track changes to a word 97-2003 file?

I've checked the settings in "file types" and the "extract comments" option is selected. I have also noticed that the oldest version supported is Microsoft Word 2000-2003. Could it be that?

As this was sent as a package, I don't think I can convert that file to a newer version.

The new comment options only apply to DOCX Jan 23, 2015

Catarina

The new options for Word comments don't work for Word 2003-2007 (.DOC) documents. You can see this clearly in the Filetype options.

I suggest you convert your source file to DOCX before you open it in Studio.

In case you don't have the source, create it using the command "Save as source".

I suspected it had something to do with the file version.

I do have the source file in word, but as I'm working on a review package I don't think I can add files to it. Well, at least I cannot find that option.
