Help: Trados finding invisible (?) TU

I have Trados 6.5.

I've just started in on a document. I translate the first TU (which happens to be the first paragraph), click set/next, and then the cursor supposedly opens up the next TU, which I don't see, and prompts me for the translation. I don't get any of the usual colored bars on the screen, and I can't (when I do a "Find" in the original text) locate where this supposed TU is. I can't close the TU ... I can't do anything. I'm stuck!

Any thoughts???

Note: when I try to close the invisible TU ... it tells me that the cursor has to be in a source or target field.

Fixed it - thanks. Even though the original doc wasn't segmented, I cleaned it and the problem went away.

Go figure. I guess even Trados has to take a snow day...
