Hi "r", Do you only have the text export, or is the .mtw file (plus accompanying index files) also available? Best regards, Ralf

Create a new TM in Workbench, selecting the languages that correspond to the languages of your text file, then import the file by using File/Import. Here, when you get to the Open Import File window, go to 'Files of Type' and select Translator's Workbench (*.txt). BR, Vesna

But the question was about importing into MultiTerm.

and then use MultiTerm Convert. You will get a xml-file and a definition file for your database, which you can directly import in MTiX (I assume this is what you are using now). Regards Jerzy

THX, but its not so easy ---> 1. It is a very large DB ±•40.000 units 2. It was prepared for use with special TUE SW (so its not so tragic, I can use it anyway) 3. I cannot manage especially this case, where I have 2 or 3 terms PL or EN at the same entry level, but anyway thx for your kindly suggestion ... See more THX, but its not so easy ---> 1. But you still can build billingual glossaries out of it, selecting only two columns in Excel then... Of course you would still need to add extra rows for duplicate entries to get only two columns x rows structure. When you have such a table you can convert it using MultiTerm Convert and then teach MTiX to merge duplicate entries together while importing. Regards Jerzy

Hi again, Guess it would be easiest to find someone with MT5.5, who can create a database from the import file. This database can in turn be converted to MTiX. Best, Ralf
