Importing TM - Problems with accents

Hi, I'm usin TRADOS 6.5 Freelance, and when I import a .txt file, say, Spanish into Portuguese, all words with accents are not correctly displayed (eg. obligaciones comes as obrigações)???

Can anybody give me a help on that?

You may try to convert... Feb 27, 2005

...the txt file in a Editor. I use Ultraedit. There you can convert for example a ASCII file to UTF-8 (there is other possibilities)

I think this is the reason.
