Recover bilingual file from a return package created by myself

I created a return package with studio and then accidentally deleted the original file from the project. I forgot to update my own TM before making the return package. How can I recover the bilingual file from a return package that I created myself. I am apparently only able to get a "read-only" file

Thanks for any assistance

You are the client now? May 12, 2016

I guess:
That should be normal, shouldn't it? The file is now in the "delivered" condition.
Why not ask your customer for a copy, explaining your mistake?
Hopefully...

Rename the package May 12, 2016

Simply open the 'Packages' folder in your project, go to the subfolder 'Out', rename the return package file by changing the extension from .sdlrpx to .zip, and open like you open all normal ZIP files.

HTH,
Natalia

One final problem!! May 12, 2016

I reintegrated the file into the initial project and everything went fine until I tried to make a new return package. The return package symbol is greyed out so I can't make a return package even though everything looks OK (same TM as the other files in project, source and target language files etc.). What is stopping studio from returning the new translation?

Back process May 12, 2016

Simply copy the new/updated sdlxliff back to the renamed project, and rename once again, this time from .zip to .sdlrpx
