TM/2 to Trados May 31, 2005

Hello,

You may convert your TM/2 memory to Trados format. I am using Trados Workbench 6.5, I don't know if previous versions have this functionality.

- Export the TM memory from IBM TM/2 (*.EXP file) to a temporary folder (use ASCII code page).
- Create a new Trados memory
- Click File -> Import from Trados Workbench's menu bar
- Change the options or use the default values
- Click OK
- In the Open Import File window, select IBM TM/2 (*.exp) type and locate the TM/2 memory you want to import.
- Click Open
- That's it!

The most recent build of TM/2 (6.0.7) lets you import/export memories in .TMX format.

Regards,

Jesus
